At NORNORM, accessible through https:/nornorm.com and our app, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our visitors and customers. This Privacy Policy document contains types of information that is collected and recorded by NORNORM and how we use it.

In this Privacy statement "we", "us" and "our" refers to all the companies of the NORNORM group. As this Privacy statement applies globally, there may be differences in how we collect, use or disclose your personal data from country to country, in which case we will inform you about any specific processing activities that take place in your country.

Your personal data is controlled by A Place That Works A/S (having a registered office at Badsmandsstraede 19B, Copenhagen) or our NORNORM company located in your country. As regards this website, A Place That Works A/S is the data controller.

For purposes of this Privacy Policy, "Personal Data" means any information through which we can identify you as an individual, as further described below in "Personal Data we collect".

What we do with your personal data

For the performance of our agreement with you: In order to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us, and to provide you with the information and services that you request, including managing and handling your requests, inquiries or complaints. Your Personal Data may be transferred to and processed in other countries where laws governing the processing of Personal Data may be less stringent than the laws in your country (including jurisdictions outside the European Economic Area).

In such cases, where required by local law we will ensure that there are adequate safeguards in place to protect your Personal Data. Depending on the location of the NORNORM entity exporting the relevant Personal Data, this adequate safeguard might be a data transfer agreement with the recipient based on standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission. Where we are legally required to do so, further details of these transfers and copies of these agreements are available from us on request.

To the extent required and valid under your local law, you consent to your Personal Data being transferred and processed this way.

Security

NORNORM will take reasonable steps to ensure that your Personal Data are properly secured using appropriate technical, physical, and organizational measures, so that they are protected against unauthorised or unlawful use, alteration, unauthorised access or disclosure, accidental or wrongful destruction, and loss.

We take steps to limit access to your Personal Data to those persons who need to have access to it for one of the purposes listed in this Privacy statement. Furthermore, we contractually ensure that any third party processing your Personal Data equally provide for confidentiality and integrity of your data in a secure way.

Data retention

We retain your Personal Data for as long as required to satisfy the purpose for which they were collected and used (for example, for the time necessary for us to provide you with customer service, answer queries or resolve technical problems), unless a longer period is necessary for our legal obligations or to defend a legal claim.

Children

NORNORM does not knowingly collect any Personal Data from children under the age of 16. If you think that your child provided this kind of information on our website, we strongly encourage you to contact us immediately and we will do our best efforts to promptly remove such information from our records.

Third Party Privacy Policies

NORNORM's Privacy statement does not apply to other advertisers or websites. Thus, we are advising you to consult the respective privacy policies of these third-party ad servers for more detailed information. It may include their practices and instructions about how to opt-out of certain options.

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have various rights in relation to your Personal Data. In particular, you may have the right to:
